Marriages

Couples married or united in Holy Union by our ministers are expected to participate actively and regularly in the worship life of the congregation over the months during which the service is being planned.
They must also participate in a marriage preparation event conducted by an organization acceptable to the church.
During its meeting of September 28, 2005, our Church Board passed a motion stating that Knox-Metropolitan United Church will treat all marriages, marriage inquiries, and marriage ceremonies equally.

Reception of New Members

We welcome new people to our church by confirmation, by certificate of transfer from another congregation, or by reaffirmation of faith during Sunday worship two different Sundays each year. If you have been attending Knox-Met and are interested in becoming a member please ask one of the ministers for more details.

Funerals and Memorial Services

These services are offered as requested and give thanks for a life in a Christian context.
